Norfork, Arkansas

The White River and North Fork River in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas offer some of the best trout fishing I've ever had.  It is a great year round fishery.

I'm passionate  about fishing.

I had a great Dad who introduced me to fishing at an early age.  He'd wake me up before daybreak and we'd head off for the coastal waters of south Texas.  I ended up going to college in Arkansas and have gotten to enjoy the fishing

opportunities of this area since 1976.  I started fishing with a fly rod in 1978.....I probably caught more fish on my back cast than I did in front of me....if you are new to the sport, you understand this.  I've since gotten a little better and if you'd like, I can help you get better too!

After having several businesses that I was blessed to be successful at, I am now enjoying a slower paced life and realizing my dream to work outdoors, be a fishing guide, and involve my family in a small business.

I absolutely love to help people catch fish.  You catching a fish is even better than me catching a fish!  I really enjoy watching someone catch their first trout on a fly rod....or netting a good fish and hearing them say, " That's the biggest trout I've ever caught."

I'd like to invite you to bring your family or friends to fish the White River and North Fork River for Rainbow, German Brown, Cutthroat, and Brook Trout. The great numbers of fish allow novice anglers good success, while more skilled anglers can enjoy the challenge of targeting large German Browns. Smallmouth Bass, found in some sections of the White River and many of its tributaries, are fish I really enjoy chasing.  I think that pound for pound it is the strongest fighting fish in fresh water.

We have steps that lead down to our private access on the White River, which offers great wade fishing.

A real gem in this area is Dry Run Creek. This small creek offers catch and release fishing for those 16 and younger. It is a great place to learn how to fly fish in moving waters.   Bring your young family members for some memories that will last a lifetime.

I have fly fished for the last twenty five years. If you have an interest in learning how to fly fish, I'd love to help.

I prefer my customers to catch fish while using artificial baits with barbless hooks on either spinning or fly gear

Guided trips may be a mix of boat and wade fishing depending on the customer's desires.

All fish larger than 16" will be released.

 A guided trip will include:

All fly or spinning tackle, except waders.

    Soft drinks, coffee and water
